Chromium (Cr) Metal |

Chromium is a lustrous, brittle, hard silver-gray metal. It can be highly polished. It does not tarnish in air, when heated it borns and forms the green chromic oxide. Chromium is unstable in oxygen, it immediately produces a thin oxide layer that is impermeable to oxygen and protects the metal below. Applications --- Chromium primary uses are in alloys such as stainless steel, in chrome plating and in metal ceramics. Chromium plating was once widely used to give steel a polished silvery mirror coating. Chromium is used in metallurgy to impart corrosion resistance and a shiny finish; as dyes and paints, its salts colour glass an emerald green and it is used to produce synthetic rubies; as a catalyst in dyeing and in the tanning of leather; to make molds for the firing of bricks. Chromium (IV) oxide (CrO2) is used to manufacture magnetic tape. Basic Information

Our Advantage China rare metal material co.,limited (CRM) is an experter in manufacture chromium granule as electric materials. All chromium granule are manufacture by programs with with the highest possible density and smallest possible average grain size.. CRM material co.,limited is specialized in making various granule . We have many raw material compounds line, such as semiconductor line, chemical compounds line, metallurgy line, powder milling line, etc. Moreover, we introduced many advanced technology and equipments from related companies at home and aborad. We also have an experienced research team who have developed many new and special pellets, and also successfully made many trial orders and received many customers satisfaction and long-term friendship. All chromium granule are analyzed using best detection means including chemical analysis, Crystal phase microscope, x ray diffraction(XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry (GDMS), and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP). |
